Hardware![]() Larger Text + | Smaller Text - Drum Hardware and Percussion HardwareDrums and other percussion instruments are, of course, the most important component of a drummer's or percussionist's set up. However, where would these drum and percussion set ups be without the drum hardware and percussion hardware that supports and connects all the various parts, and allows the instruments to be played easily. Hardware may not be first and foremost on every percussionist's mind, however, it is unquestionably important.Hardware such as a bongo stand, djembe stand, timbal stand, and conga stand, makes playing these instruments much easier than having to hold on to them. Since the drum stands take care of drum support, the drummer can be free to concentrate on playing. This drum hardware also allows drummers to stand if desired. Surdo drummers can also benefit from a surdo legs set if they do not wish to suspend the drums from a waist or shoulder strap. Other hardware such as wood block mounts, frame drum holders, and stands capable of supporting frame drums and other percussion effects instruments are also very useful to the drummer or percussionist. These types of hardware free up the hands, and allow drummers to play several drums and other percussion instruments at the same time. Drum and percussion hardware is not only useful, it is often essential to enable drummers and percussionist to play their music. Hardware items are definitely not something that should be overlooked. |
