This is Schlagwerk's Cajon Fineline Comfort Mocca. The resonance box is made of beechwood, while the playing surface is made of exotic dark ebony wood. This combination of woods gives this cajon an incredibly rich and responsive sound. The resonance box has a natural finish that lets the beauty of the wood show through. The combination of tradition with a rigorous application of modern sound technology makes the Cajon Fineline series unique and very special. Once more, Schlagwerk has succeeded in setting the quality and sound standards for the modern cajon.

The most visually striking feature of the Cajon Fineline series is the smooth, rounded resonance box (CLM process). This design guarantees a comfortable and enjoyable playing experience for the musician. The resonance box also supports the distinct sound characteristics of the Mocca's playing surface, which is made from peeled high-grade woods. Individual CW2 snare coils were developed specifically for the Mocca's playing surface. Each drum contains twelve of these coils, thus creating a distinctive sound, and an incredibly delicate response. In short, the Cajon Fineline Comfort Mocca offers a unique overall aesthetic, and convincing design and sound quality.

Schlagwerk's attention to detail, skilled craftsmanship, and innovation are reflected in all their products. Their cajones are no exception. For more than 25 years, Schlagwerk Percussion has been intensively developing the cajon, which has become one of the most popular rhythm instruments. In designing their cajones, they combined traditional Cuban and Peruvian construction forms with some ideas of their own.

The instruments that belong to the cajon family (cajones, cajintos, and yambus) enchant us with soft wooden playing surfaces and produce all the nuances of modern percussion sounds, ranging from high, assertive characteristics to voluminous bass sounds. The net result is a professional, unique, and versatile drum that can be used in many musical settings.

Schlagwerk is known throughout the world for the high-quality construction and acoustic properties of their cajones. Their reputation is well deserved, as this is an incredible musical instrument. It is designed in the fashion of the Peruvian cajon, having internal snare strings that rest against the inside of the playing surface. The special construction form and clever interior design give this instrument its unmistakably unique bass and snare sounds, which are remarkably similar to an authentic drum sound. The addition of protective "feet" on the bottom serves to guard the cajon from damage while playing.

The Cajon (also known as the "Rumba Box") is very versatile. In addition to its use in traditional Latin American music, it can also supplement or even replace the drums in other styles of music. In short, cajones can be played anywhere and everywhere.

There are two models of Cajon Fineline Comfort, each with its own unique sound properties. Although both models are of the same dimensions, different woods are used in the playing surface. This gives each model of Cajon Fineline Comfort the ability to produce a different range of sounds.
