Bauer Timbales Drums 14 in. and 15 in. With Stand and Cowbells

Professional timbales must have certain shell and sound characteristics. This is because many of the rhythmic patterns of this Cuban instrument need to have the sharp and clear sound of "la cascara". This is when the player hits the side of the drum shells to set the rhythm. With full attention to detail, all Bauer Percussion timbales shells are fabricated with 1.2 mm (0.0472 inch) thick, laminated carbon steel. This design results in the creation of the ideal sound. It has double-braced tripod legs for added stability and a polished chrome finish. The height is fully adjustable, which allows for a variety of playing levels. Additionally, the playing angle can be adjusted to suit the preferences of the drummer or percussionist.

Attached to the timbale stand is a cowbell holder. This allows for the installation of cowbells, and/or percussion blocks. Two cowbells are included in the timbale set, a mambo and a cha-cha. Bauer manufactures them in such a way as to produce the ideal sounds that complement the timbales.
