Jingle sticks are percussion effects instruments that have metal jingles mounted in a "stick-like" frame. They can be used in any style of music where tambourine-like sounds are desired. The advantage jingle sticks have over tambourines is that they are easier to manipulate. It is possible to create rapid and complex rhythms, since the handling of jingle sticks is similar to that of drumsticks.
